As Istanbul Kültür University Department of Software Engineering, our vision is to become a globally recognized and prominent department by developing innovative software solutions in today's world where technology is developing rapidly. We aim to be the best choice for students seeking an advanced education in the field of software engineering, with our IEEE Standards education plan and competent academic staff from the relevant branch. We aim to lead research that addresses emerging technologies and complex problems, develop a collaborative ecosystem where academia, industry and community intersect, and foster sustainable practices in software development by educating highly qualified and responsible global citizens.

Mission
As the Department of Software Engineering, our mission is to provide balanced learning programs that integrate current science and technology to enable our students to succeed in the industry. In our laboratories, we offer our students the opportunity to work on projects that simulate real-world scenarios using up-to-date software tools. These hands-on trainings help our students transform their theoretical knowledge into practical skills and ensure that they are trained to respond to the demands of the industry. In addition, our primary goals are to improve our students' analytical thinking skills, increase their mathematical modelling abilities and enable them to evaluate technical solutions in social and economic contexts. In this way, our graduates will be equipped to quickly adapt to dynamic changes in the sector and successfully produce solutions.
